Our Story

The menu at Dee’s is largely influenced with healthy, simple flavours that everyone can enjoy. We believe in keeping the dishes simple and honest to their origin, with fresh flavours.

The menu is produce driven and changes seasonally depending on what is available and best in quality and sourced locally as much as possible. Other than some breads, everything is made in the kitchen, including pitas, sweets and pastries. Generally the dishes are heavier in winter – including the popular 16 hour roasted lamb shoulder – while lighter meals and salads in favour at summer.
Dee’s Kitchen is a celebration of diversity and culture, not only through the multicultural menu, but also the outfit which is infused with a feel of decades past and the funky urban café scene of Melbourne’s inner north. It is about much more than just a meal. It is a celebration of food, heritage, culture and, of course being social, yet it doesn’t sit out of place within the more relaxed environment of a beachside community.

All menu items have been lovingly created in Dee’s Kitchen.
We only use Nirvana Free Range Eggs, and wherever possible, we support local produce and suppliers.
In order to maintain the quality of service, we may not be able to alter the menu during busy periods.



Our dishes may change seasonally, so if you see something you really like – grab it and share it! It may not be there next time, but something else scrumptious will…
